Your privacy is important to NARCH, the following statement explains our policy regarding the personal information that you provide to NARCH.

  1. Policy
    During registration, and from time to time, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name, email address, credit card details etc) in order to receive or use services on the NARCH website. Such services include renewing your membership (and making payments for your membership), newsletters, emails, courses and training events.

    By providing your details, as requested, using the various entry mechanisms, you enable NARCH and its service providers to provide you with the services you select. We will treat any personal information you provide to NARCH in accordance with this policy. NARCH will always endeavour to operate using the current and acknowledge Internet best practices and will act in accordance with current legislation.
  2. The NARCH website and Cookies
    As part of NARCH's wish to protect your privacy we do not use "cookies" except as necessary to keep your identity secure once you log in.
  3. Use and storage of your personal information
    NARCH has a legal obligation to you to deal with any information you provide to us in a particular way.
    NARCH will use the data you have provided in any of the following ways:
    • Carrying out administration
    • Providing customer services
    • To notify you of training courses, events and other similar communication (unless you indicate through the website that you do not require these)
    • Provide you with services as per your membership
    The majority of any information that you provide to NARCH will only be used within NARCH or by its service providers (for the key exception see below). Such providers will include (but are not limited to) the organisation that NARCH uses to process payments for NARCH goods and services made on-line.

    The key exception to the above is the provision of details to the public when searching for an RCH or Canine Hydrotherapy Centre listed with NARCH.

    On occasion NARCH may be required by law to disclose your personal information.

    NARCH will continue to store your personal information on its systems for as long as you are a member. Where an individual is no longer a member the data held will be treated as inactive.

    NARCH will abide by the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely.
  4. Access to your personal information
    You can review and update your personal details at anytime. As a member you can log-on to the website and review and update the information held there. Alternatively you can contact NARCH and we will provide you with this information.
