Aims

The Aims of NARCH

  • To ensure that animal welfare is the first consideration for Registered Canine Hydrotherapists and that all animals committed to their care are treated humanely and with respect.
  • To set and maintain high standards so that NARCH can assure the public, veterinary professionals and pet insurance providers of the high level of education, continued professional development and integrity of all Registered Canine Hydrotherapists.

In order to achieve this NARCH will:

  • Establish and maintain a List of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists who have met and maintain the qualification, training and quality standards set by NARCH.
  • Publish the NARCH training and practical experience requirements necessary for inclusion on the List of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists.
  • Publish the NARCH requirements for Annual Continuous Professional Development and to work to establish partnerships to provide easily accessible and affordable CPD for NARCH members.
  • Publish the Guide to Professional Conduct for Registered Canine Hydrotherapists.
  • Protect the public interest by ensuring that every Registered Canine Hydrotherapist adheres to NARCH standards and abides by the Guide to Professional Conduct for Registered Canine Hydrotherapists.
  • Provide a website that gives professional well researched advice and guidance on canine hydrotherapy for the public, veterinary professionals and hydrotherapists.
  • Provide an efficient and timely enquiry service for everyone who contacts NARCH.

We have two exciting Education Seminars to announce!!

The first one to be held in Guildford on Sunday 6th October 2024! Early bird tickets prices from just £40!!
